ArtRat debuts 'Wake Up!' for Third Thursdays
Starting this week, ArtRat Gallery will present a stirring new art show and live musical performances as part of downtown Grand Rapids’ Third Thursday monthly events!
Join us in the heart of the Grand Rapids arts district (46 Division Ave S.) Thursday, May 19 from 5 - 9 p.m. to explore ArtRat Gallery’s latest exhibition, “Wake Up!” featuring brand-new work from multimedia artist and landscape painter Nancy Tobin and Ukrainian-American painter Christina Saj. Bear witness to these vibrant, colorful calls to action, which meld springtime imagery with the urgent themes of halting climate change and fighting for civil liberties.
Organized by ArtRat Gallery and a slate of other downtown businesses and community organizations, Third Thursdays is a showcase for GR’s local art galleries, retailers, restaurants, and cultural institutions.
Third Thursdays is built around Grand Rapids' free downtown area shuttle (DASH), with buses that arrive every 8 minutes in a loop throughout the downtown and connect to the cheapest parking in the city — $2/day. Check out the route here.
